AV Policies

A limit of of 20 CDs or Books on CD may be checked out for 3 weeks.

Ficiton DVDs may be checked out for one week at a charge of 50¢ per item. Non-fiction and Kids' DVDs are FREE. Borrower must be at least eighteen years of age (or may be 15, 16, or 17 years of age with a signed permission slip from a parent or guardian). The overdue charge is $1.00 per day for each DVD. A limit of 20 DVDs may be checked out at one time.

Video games are available for check out in Xbox, Wii, and PS3 format. Check out for 1 week for $2 per game, 2 game limit. Find the Xbox list here and the Wii and PS3 list here. The overdue charge is $1.00 per day per game.

CDs, Books on CD, and DVDs are not to be repaired, altered or tampered with in any way. If there is a problem with any of these items, please inform us at the time the item is returned. Avoid leaving any of these items in temperature extremes. Play only at room temperature. In case of damage or loss, borrower may be charged the full replacement cost.

Teen AV Policy

Fifteen, sixteen and seventeen year old teens are allowed to check out DVDs if they have a valid library card, and a signed permission form on file. The permission form must be signed in the library by a parent or guardian. No R Rated films may be checked out unless permission is given by parent. Forms may be picked up in the AV Department.

All the AV policies remain the same: Check out for one week and $1.00 charge per day for each overdue DVD.

Audio Visual Equipment

The library has slide projectors and screens that may be checked out. There is also an opaque projector and a multimedia projector that may be utilized in-house by patrons.
