Cardmaking Class at PPL

Valentine CardLooking for a card for that special Valentine?  Here is your opportunity to make your own.  Jennifer Merle-Hamscher will be teaching a Valentine card making class on Tuesday, February 3rd at 10:00 a.m. and again at 6:30 p.m. here in the library. For the small sum of $5.00, you can make 3 cards. All supplies will be provided and the fee will be collected at class.  Registration is required.  Please sign up on our Library Calendar of Events, by February 2nd.

Book Talk at PPL

wooden_bookJust in time for March Madness, Auburn author Barbara Olenyik Morrow will discuss her newly released book Hardwood Glory: A Life of John Wooden at Plymouth Public Library on SundayFeb. 22, at 2:30 p.m., Laramore Rooms A/B.  Her talk is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.  More information can be found by following this link.

 

  • Toddler Story Time

    When: Friday, January 30, 2015 - 9:15 AM - 9:45 AM
    Where: Guild Storyhour Room

    Miss Marie presents: For children 18-35 months old. Parents participate in each 30 minute session, which is filled with stories, songs, action rhymes, and finger plays. Minimum of 5 children required.
  • 11th Annual Monopoly Tournament

    When: Friday, January 30, 2015 - 10:45 AM - 2:45 PM
    Where: Laramore A/B

    This is a day of fun, food, strategy, and hanging with friends! Games will by played by official, long-game rules, but with a 90 minute time limit. Top 6 players will play a winner's round while the rest of the contestants play other board games or just watch. Pizza, pop, and snacks will be provided. Winner gets a $50 Walmart gift card!
  • Family Movie Time

    When: Saturday, January 31, 2015 - 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
    Where: Laramore A

    All ages are invited to attend a family movie. Bring your own food & drinks or buy them at the library. Children under 11 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Homework Help

    When: Monday, February 02, 2015 - 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
    Where: Jim Neu Family Room

    High School students offer their time and talents to help elementary and Junior High students with their homework. Parents must stay in the library to be available to supervise their children when their homework is done. No sign up required.
  • Wonder Babies

    When: Tuesday, February 03, 2015 - 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM
    Where: Guild Storyhour Room

    Montessori based class for infants 0-24 months. A lap sit story will be read and then we will learn a sign that goes along with the story. After story and signing time are finished infants and parents are free to move from discovery station to discovery station until the class is over. No sign up is required.
