Library Card Registration Policy

To receive a library card from the Plymouth Public Library you must either live or own property in the City of Plymouth, or Center, West, Polk or North* Townships in Marshall County.  You may also qualify if you have a card from a neighboring library system.  (Argos, Bourbon, Bremen, Mishawaka, Starke County or Rochester).   (St. Joseph County Public Library patrons do not qualify, they must purchase a PLAC card to be eligible for a Plymouth card.)

1.  Fill out the online registration, stating name, address, phone number, etc .

2.  Present 2 forms of ID (one photo ID) and sign at the adult circulation desk.

If you qualify for a card and upon completion of Steps 1 & 2, a library card will be mailed to you.  A parent or legal guardian must sign for applicant under 18 years of age.

Registration Form

*January through May, North Township will pay the first $40.00 of the
out-of-township fee and the household will pay the remainder June through December the required descending amount will be completely covered by the North Township prepayment, because it is less than $40.00.  All North Township cards will expire at years end and must be renewed for the following year.
