Our next meeting will be Monday, March 20th at 3:30 p.m. in the Conference Room.
Friends of the Library is a wonderful way to support the Plymouth Public Library! It is a non-profit organization whose members work to support the library through fundraising and advocacy.
We are always looking for more volunteers and anyone can join! If you love reading and want others to have the benefits of using a library, then you are just what we want! Grab the membership form at any circulation desk to join!
Friends of the Library run several different fundraisers for us here at Plymouth Public Library, including book sales, bake sales and the wagon and wheelchair rental at the Blueberry Festival.
Friends Book SaleLook for the Friends of the Library shelves close to the main circulation desk at the Center Street entrance. There are books, CDs, videos and books-on-tape available for purchase at all times.
Books, cassette tapes, CDs, computer software, etc., in good, resale condition, are welcome for donation and taken at the library during library hours. We do not accept magazines.
Volunteer opportunities available at the library:
Shelf reading, cutting, pasting, and assembling items, data entry, dusting shelves and cleaning books, providing baked goods, helping with the children's and young adult activities.
Remember: "A friend is one of the nicest things you can have, and one of the best things you can be." - Douglas Pagels
