Library Card

If you live or own property in the City of Plymouth, or the Townships of Center or West in Marshall County, you are eligible for a free library card at the Plymouth Public Library!  Those who live in North or Polk Townships, while still eligible to get a card, may have to pay some or all of the cost of that card.  Please call or come in to find out more.

Reciprocal Borrowing - Reciprocal borrowing agreements have been signed with the Argos, Bourbon, Bremen, Culver, Fulton County, Mishawaka-Penn, St. Joseph County, Starke County, and Walkerton Public Libraries. Plymouth Public Library patrons may visit these libraries, apply for one of their cards and then check out their materials.  Patrons of the other libraries may also check out PPL materials after receiving one of our cards.

PLAC - Although not required, patrons choosing to purchase a PLAC (Public Library Access Card) may use it to receive a free card at any Indiana library.  The current PLAC fee is $65.  PLACs may be purchased from any Indiana library and are good for 365 days from the date of purchase.

For more information, or to apply for a card, ask at either the adult or children's circulation desks.

Library Account

You must use your library card by presenting it when you are checking out items, renewing an item, or placing a hold on an item. You can also do some of that on your own by accessing your account online. Your account is already set up when you first get your card, just use the name and number on your card. Use the "My Account" link on the right to access your account.
